Horseback Riding

Horses are at the heart of the western cattle ranching experience. The ranch offers horses and rides suitable for any skill level, whether its your first time or you’re a seasoned rider! Knowledgeable wranglers provide horsemanship instruction.

Guests can expect relaxed group rides and lopes through meadows and streams, excursions into the forests and lakes in the high country, moving cattle to new pastures, rides to creekside breakfast or lunch cookouts, splash rides through ponds on hot days, and even horseback events in the arena.

Time in Nature

The ranch’s idyllic location surrounded by jagged peaks, lush meadows, rushing creeks, cattle, and wildlife provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable vacation. The all-inclusive rates include lodging in cozy cabins, three home-cooked meals a day, riding, and all activities.

Evening fun includes colt gentling, square dancing, a western concert, cookouts, bingo, roping lessons, hayrides, and campfire sing-a-longs with s’mores. A guest favorite is talent night, where guests, staff, and family members sing, dance, play music, recite cowboy poetry, and perform skits. Spectators and performers join in the fun of this long-held tradition. The ranch also offers a kids’ play structure, horseshoes, volleyball, and a big lawn for other games.

Guest Cabins

The cozy and comfortable cabins have a queen and a twin bed with private bath and porch. Most of the cabins have two connecting rooms with a privacy door in between. All rooms are non-smoking.
